Terabithia

When the wind blew through the forest and awoke the Terabithia in the glow of a fading sunset, an old hunter returned to his cosy cabin. In the depths of the wilderness, there is a place, like an abstract tree structure that exudes an unfathomable sense of mystery. When it was near sunset, all things melted into a vague immensity, the translucent claddings created an iridescent and continually changing inner world, luring people to languidly lingered while lost amid vague musings.

The temporary exhibition space also incorporates the concept of ‘journey’ as its parti. Different viewing spots reveal different fractions of the hunter’s life journey. The internal space serves as a territory called ‘terabithia’, a wonderland, which accepts children to explore and doesn’t confine them to a specific area, providing adventure and sanctuary to pupils while engaging their bodies and minds, and helping adults find their childish disposition.

Based on the return briefs from the Pulteney Grammar School art student Oliver, the poster serves as a visual interpretation of the initial design concept for the temporary exhibition space.
